Featured are new films from renowned modern masters, debut films of emerging directors, career retrospectives, our Directors Retreat and a star-studded Awards Gala at which we honor the year’s best performances.

The films of Spain will collectively be included in Cine Latino showcase and may be included in one or more juried competitions, e.g., New Voices/New Visions for debut films, the John Schlesinger Award for Best Documentary and the prestigious FIPRESCI critics’ awards.
This “festival within a festival” of 20-30 exclusively Ibero-American films is hugely popular with our audience of world cinema enthusiasts who seek out the passionate characters and extraordinary stories that characterize Spanish films.
Each Spanish film in the Cine Latino showcase will screen a minimum of twice and possibly three times.
After each screening of the films there will an intimate Q&A with the director and the audience.
