The Spanish composer José Peris, with the collaboration of AC/E through its Programme for the Internationalisation of Spanish Culture, is travelling to the United States for the first time at the invitation of Yale University to take part in the Summer School of Music at Norfolk.
During Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, Austrian Artis Quartet and American tenor James Taylor will perform Peris’s arrangement of Haydn’s Seven Last Words of Christ for string quartet and voice. Meetings will be held with university students on the subject of this concert to analyse the work of the Spanish composer.
