Hay Festival, along with Book Bunk, is co-organizing the 2025 NBO LITFEST , taking place from June 26 to 29 in Nairobi. Conceived in 2021, the NBO Litfest has quickly become a leading event on the international literary scene, celebrating freedom of expression and cultural exchange.
For this edition, AC/E supports the participation of Cameroonian-born author Sani Ladan, who lives in Spain.
Sani Ladan holds a degree in International Relations and is a social educator, intercultural trainer, and specialist in foreign policy, security, and international migration. He works as an international analyst and researcher specializing in issues related to the Middle East, Central, and West Africa. Sani Ladan is also a pan-Africanist, anti-racist, and human rights activist, a member of the Elín Association (Ceuta), and creator of the podcast "África en 1 click." He is also the author of the book "La luna está en Douala," published by Plaza y Janés.
The NBO Litfest was launched by Book Bunk in 2021, quickly becoming a major event on the African continent's international literary scene. Through its partnership with the HAY FESTIVAL, it has grown into an annual event with a broad potential audience that promotes free expression and international cultural exchange.
