Nayra Sanz is a scriptwriter, photographer, culture critic, filmmaker, director and producer. Her visit to Carleton College has several aims: to work with the students doing the “Contemporary Spanish Fictional Essay” course, to share experiences with the students of the Film and Media Studies department, and to present her work at the International Film Forum. As a collaborator on the course, Nayra is holding a micro-workshop on scriptwriting in connection with the visual essay.
