Musikfestspiele Potsdam Sanssouci 2022

The Music Festival Potsdam Sanssouci is a festival with music from the Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque, Classic and Romantic in historically informed performances.

“Islands” is the main theme of the edition of the Potsdam Sanssouci Music Festival 2022. A journey through musical journeys of discovery that explore symbolic, literary and imaginary cultures as well as many real islands. The Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands, Ireland, Sicily or Iceland, Crete or Cuba, all of them have given birth to musical forms and styles, which have then traveled all over the world. The Festival thus forges a wide bridge from literary imagination to reality, from distant and exotic places to the home island of Potsdam.

AC/E supports the participation of Spanish musicians, through the PICE Programme:
RODAFONIO
Euskal Barrokensemble (Director, Enrique Solinis)
L'Apothéose
Al Ayre Español
Orquesta Barroca de Sevilla
