#FestivalMixtur #Mixtur2019 #MixturBCN | From April 25 to May 5, in the headquarters in Fabra i Coats-Factory of Creació, Mixtur 2017 draws a circuit of collaborations with important institutions and programmers. This new edition includes concerts, pedagogical workshops, round tables, and facilities, offering diverse, accessible programming, an important part of which comes from an international open call.
The support of Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) through its Programme for the Internationalization of Spanish Culture (PICE) in the modality of Visitors makes it possible to support the travelling expenses of foreign programmers: Michael Obst (Hochschule Franz Liszt), Bjorn Gottstein (Donaueschinger Musiktage), Silvina Milstein (King's College of Music London), Stefano Gervasoni (Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique et Danse de Paris), Raushan Jumaniyazova (Conservatorio Nacional de Kazajistán), Anna Berit Asp Christensen (Festival SPOR, Denmark), Johan Tallgren (Time of Music, Finland) y Bert Palinckx (November Musik, Holland).
Mixtur has been founded in Barcelona in 2012 with the aim of contributing to the process of creating, teaching and more extensively distributing contemporary music and sound art intertwined with the science of sound itself and the creative arts. The main objectives of Mixtur are to become a meeting point of musicians and other artists whose work focuses on research; and the public, set new artistic trends offering an opportunity to discover developments in music and sound art at an international level, encourage education and promote new works in arts.
