Mixtur Festival 2018

Mixtur Festival 2018

From  April 19 to 29,  in the headquarters in Fabra  i  Coats-Factory of Creació, Mixtur  2017 draws a circuit of collaborations with important institutions and programmers. This new edition includes concerts, pedagogical workshops,  round tables, and facilities, offering diverse, accessible programming, an important part of which comes from an international open call.

Mixtur has been founded in Barcelona in 2012 with the aim of contributing to the process of creating, teaching and more extensively distributing contemporary music and sound art intertwined with the science of sound itself and the creative arts. The main objectives of Mixtur are to become a  meeting point of musicians and other artists whose work focuses on research; and the public, set new artistic trends offering an opportunity to discover developments in music and sound art at an international level, encourage education and promote new works in arts.
