Miami International Film Festival 2015

Miami International Film Festival 2015

Founded in 1983, since its first edition MiamiFF has brought the pick of world cinema to southern Florida. Since then, the festival has gained international acclaim for its consistently high quality programme with presentations of filmmakers and critics and meetings with the cinema industry.

At this 32nd edition, the festival is screening nearly 100 films from 35 countries, of which approximately 15% are Spanish productions or co-productions. MiamiFF is thus consolidating its reputation as the leading film festival in the United States for Spanish films.

To qualify to be chosen for the programme, Spanish films must have received an award. AC/E is collaborating with the festival by supporting the participation of the following filmmakers whose films are included in the official selection: Mercedes Gamero, Paz Vega, Álex Pina, Álex Garcia, JuanMa Villar, Elena Anaya, Jose Mari Goneaga, Gonzalo Bendala, Maxi Iglesias, Curro Sanchez and Elena Manrique.
