The mission of Miami Film Festival is to bridge cultural understanding and encourage artistic development by provoking thought through film. By bringing the best of world cinema to Miami, the Festival presents the city and the film industry with a singular platform that fosters creative and technical talent.

The 34th Miami Film Festival takes place in March 2017 when the best of world cinema returns to Miami. During 10 days, the Festival takes over 7 venues, shows more than 110 films, brings to Miami 100+ filmmakers who have the opportunity to share with a big audience their latest work.

This edition the Miami International Film Festival, produced and presented by Miami Dade College, showcases the best of the world cinema with a gateway to Latin America that fosters creative and technical talent. Over the past 32 years, the festival has grown from being showcased in a single theater to a sprawling variety of venues throughout South Florida with more than 60,000 attendees. AC/E supports the participation of several Spanish filmmakers to present their most recent works.
