Mes de Danza (Dance Month), Seville’s international contemporary dance fair, was started up in the city in 1994 with the aim of disseminating contemporary dance in its diversity. After 21 editions, Dance Month, which has received 4 prizes including a MAX, has become a central event on the contemporary dance scene and a national and international point of reference. In recent years it has been striving to internationalise the project and promote Spanish creators overseas.
With the support of the Programme for the Internationalisation of Spanish Culture (PICE), Seville Dance Month will be attended by nine important international programmers: Anne Le Batard (Ex Nihilo, France), Jean Antoine Bigot (Ex Nihilo, France), Meryem Jazouli (Espace Darja, Morocco), Anne Rossignol (In8Circle, France), Lucien Arino (Rezodanse, Alexandria, Egypt), Emilie Petit (Momkin Espaces de Possibles, France, Egypt), Jasmina Prolic (ZVRK Dance Festival, Bosnia-Herzegovina), Anita Mathieu (Rencontres Chorégraphiques Internationales de Seine-Saint Denis, France) and Eva Nunez (European Projects Manager, European Festivals Association, Belgium).
