The Mercat de Música Viva de Vic (MMVV, Vic live music fair) is a professional event that brings together all the sectors of the state music industry. MMVV has built a bridge between continents that is crossed in both directions by music culture and initiatives. Based in southern Europe, MMVV creates international professional networks and gives rise to new spaces for creation, encouraging collaboration between artists from all over the world.
With the collaboration of AC/E through the Visitors section of the Programme for the Internationalisation of Spanish Culture, this year’s Mercat features international programmers in order to enhance the quality and possibilities of the music business it provides its participants. These programmers are Diana Glusberg (Niceto Club, Argentina), Antonio Gutiérrez (Festival Rec-Beat, Brazil), Ángel Igor Lozada Rivera Melo (Feria de Guadalajara de Cultura UDG, Mexico), Christopher Dearlove (National Art Center Ottawa, Canada) and Balazs Weyer (Hangveto Zenei Terjeszto Tarsulas, Hungary) and Alfredo Caxaj (Sunfest London, Canadá).
