The Salón Internacional del Libro Teatral (International theatre book fair) was established by the Asociación de Autores de Teatro (Theatre writers’ association) to disseminate both plays and texts relating to specialities in the performing arts. As well as showcasing the latest drama publications, the event also features staged readings, meetings, forums and debates in which authors, publishers, producers and translators take part.
During the three days of the fair, individual meetings between authors (members of AAT and SGAE) and translators take place. The translators that have come to Spain to participate in this Theatre Book Fair with AC/E's support through the Visitors' grants are: David Ferré (France), Ivana Krpan (Croatia), Antonio Gonçalves (Portugal), Neva Mícheva (Bulgaria), Stylianos Rodarelis (Greece) and Yoichi Tajiri (Japan). The meetings will take place on Friday 1 and Saturday 2, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sunday 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
