This International film competition includes an official section and panorama information sections, panorama Spain, retrospectives, competitive section Canarias Cinema, the most freak night, author cycle (Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani) and Monopol Music Festival. AC/E facilitates, through the PICE grants, the participation of Ela Bittencourt of É Tudo Verdade Int'l Documentary Film Festival so you can get to know the Spanish film scene first-hand.
With the section «Déjà vu: siete mujeres» the festival recovers a series of films by authors who were pioneers in their way of conceiving cinema, both for the subject matter treated, as well as for the form and style they adopted when drawing their trajectory.
The festival also presents a retrospective of the visual work of David OReilly (Ireland, 1985), a genuine artist who works with the tools that computer animation puts at his disposal. The Irish creator offers a master class within the framework of the cinematographic appointment and an 81 minute block of his shorts.
