The 14th edition of the Festival has programme the screening of twelve films, from which ten are in competition. The Festival brings to London audiences a selection of some of the best recent productions from Spain, most of which otherwise would not be possible to see in London/UK. A great part of the films in programme are presented by their directors or actors or other crew in the way of introductions or Q&A sessions chaired by film experts. The Festival includes a competition for which a Jury of five non-Spanish experts from the fields of film, arts, and media are gathered.
The festival aims to bring London audiences some of the best recent productions from Spain and the work by Spanish talent that, otherwise, would not be possible to see in London/UK. The aim is also to have members of films' crews and cast presenting their work to the audiences by offering introductions and Q&A sessions, which are chaired by film experts, some of whom from British institutions.
AC/E supports the participation of the following Spanish guests:
- Ana Murugarren ("La higuera de los bastardos")
- Marc Recha ("La vida lliure")
- Carlos Marques Marcet ("Anchor and Hope")
- Anna Petrus ("Bohemia")
- Eva Vila ("Penélope")
- Manuel Martin Cuenca ("El autor")
- Eduardo Chapero Jackson ("Tócate")
