Polypoetry, 'spoken word', 'slam poetry', performance poetry... Authors who combine the freedom of poetic language with the possibilities of stage performances. These new expressions of poetry are gaining an increasing number of followers thanks to magazines, festivals and meetings held all over the world. The authors present their texts in formats that are accessible and appealing to the public at large. AltaVoz brings together the main practitioners of this phenomenon in Mexico.
Five Spanish poets are attending this event with the support of the AC/E Mobility grants. In addition to presenting their work, the Spanish artists will also take part in a conference on Nuevas manifestaciones del hecho poético en España (New expressions of the poetic act in Spain).
