The Latin Beat Film Festival (LBFF) is taking place in Tokyo, Osaka and Yokohama from 5 October to 5 November and features a selection of Latinamerican films that will be premiered in Japan. LBFF has grown over the years, and since its 10th edition in 2013, it has been part of Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) as a run-up event.
Thanks to the support of the AC/E Mobility grants, this year’s edition features Lorenzo Silva and Andrés Koppel in the 2nd edition of the Symposium "Literature and adaptations". They present "La doncella y la niebla" written by Lorenzo Silva in 2002 and adapted into a film in 2017 by Andrés Koppel.
