Latin Beat Film Festival 2015

The 12th edition of Latin Beat Film Festival (LBFF) is taking place in Tokyo, Osaka and Yokohama from 8 October to 3 November and features a selection of 17 films that will be premiered in Japan. LBFF has grown over the years, and since its 10th edition in 2013, it has been part of Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) as a run-up event. Various Spanish directors and actors have taken part in the festival, such as Itziar Bollaín in 2005, Daniel Sánchez Arévalo in 2007, Carlos Saura in 2008, Javier Fesser in 2009, Emilio Aragón and Carmen Machi in 2010, Marisa Paredes and Lola Salvador in 2011, Enrique Urbizu and Kike Maillo in 2012, and Blanca Suarez and Javier Cámara in 2013.

Thanks to the support of the AC/E Mobility grants, this year’s edition features Adriana Ugarte, who will present Habitaciones CerradasÁlex de la Iglesia and Carolina Bang with Mi gran Noche and Josep Roca with Cooking Up a Tribute.
