Latin Beat Film Festival 2018

This 15th edition of the Latin Beat Film Festival, which celebrates Ibero-American film-making in Japan, commemorates the 150th anniversary of Spanish-Japanese diplomatic relations. It is held in the three main cities in the country: Tokyo, Osaka and Yokohama, where a selection of around 15 previously unseen films in Japan will be shown, selected from films produced over the last year. 

Other parallel activities have also been scheduled for this 15th edition of the festival, including:
An exhibition in UTsutaya library in TSite Daikanyama displaying books and illustrations by Spanish artist Ana Juan Roger Olmos, and the Mexican Alejandro Magallanes, in the exhibition hall of the illustrated books and architecture section. 
An exhibition surrounding the book “EL SOMNI” by El Celler de Can Roca will also be on display in the cooking book section, published by Lunwerg it is presented in conjunction with the documentary of the same name and will be attended by Josep Roca.
And at the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo, a “Literature and film adaptations” symposium will be held, attended by the authors María Dueñas, Care Santos (Nadal Award Winner 2017), the actress Adriana Ugarte and the Guatemalan film director Jayro Bustamante.
