Fundación SGAE is organising the second edition of the JazzEñe festival, an initiative that combines concerts and professional meetings and is aimed at directly promoting jazz music in Spain, encouraging Spanish jazz groups to take part in festivals, promoting international tours and fostering meetings and exchanges of experiences and knowledge among sector professionals in Spain and the rest of Europe .
AC/E is collaborating with this year’s festival by supporting the participation of Tina Heine (Elbjazz, France), Matthias von Welk (Moers, France), Margarita Borisova (Jazz Plus , Bulgaria), Kenneth Hansen (Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Denmark), Erik Söderblom (Helsinki Festival, Finland), Pierrette Devineau (Paris Jazz Festival, France), Pierret Villeret (L´AIJMI, France), Matti Austen (Amersfoort International Jazz Festival, Netherlands), Rui Neves (Jazz em Agosto Portugal) and Mariam Makharadze (Usabda Jazz Festival, Russia). All these visitors are coming with the invitation to gain first-hand knowledge of the sector in Spain so as to be able to include the groups they meet at this event in their future festival programmes.
