This summer's »Jazz im Palmengarten« program includes seven concerts between July 7 and September 1. AC/E, through the PICE program, supports the participation of Spanish artists Andrea Motis and Antonio Lizana.

At only 27 years old, Andrea Motis, jazz trumpeter and singer who emerged from Joan Chamorro's talent factory in Barcelona, has worked with greats such as Quincy Jones, Omara Portuondo, Milton Nascimento or Yo-Yo Ma, and has recorded on record labels jazz legends like Impulse! or Verve. On her new album, Loopholes, she delves into the sounds and colors of funk, electric jazz and neo-soul. She sings in Catalan, Spanish, Portuguese and English.
