Jazz al Parque 2018

Jazz al Parque 2018

The female voices are the protagonists of the Festival Jazz al Parque 2018, a music festival that brings together some of the best artists of this genre in the Parque el Country de Bogotá, on September 22 and 23. The guest list is headed by Rene Marie of the United States, Daymé Arocena, one of the most charismatic representatives of current Cuban music, the famous saxophonist Jean Bunnet & Maqueque, among others. AC/E supports the participation of the Spaniards Josemi Carmona and Javier Colina with their latest album "De cerca".

The Jazz al Parque Festival explores different jazz trends to give visibility to one of the most representative genres in the Bogota music scene. In its version number XXIII, the curatorship of the festival has opted for the presentation of artists who, although they have training and jazz influences, mix fusions with Brazilian, Cuban, Colombian rhythms, flamenco, pop, soul and African polyrhythm in their repertoire.
