With the collaboration of AC/E through the Programme for the Internationalisation of Spanish Culture, the Symphonic Orchestra of Venezuela has invited Javier Bonet, a master of the French horn, to perform the “Ab Origen” concerto for French horn and orchestra by the Catalan composer Salvador Brotons for the first time in the country.
Javier Bonet is a reputed musician famous for performing on historical instruments. He collaborates regularly with Jordi Savall in “Le Concert des Nations”. Together with Emilio Moreno, he founded “El Concierto Español”. He is also creator and director of the “Corniloquio” natural horn ensemble. As an enquiring-minded investigator and highly versatile professional, he is simultaneously engaged in internationally renowned research in the field of the modern French horn. He can be found both premiering compositions by the most modern creators and giving brilliant performances of the most varied chamber music or presenting original educational programmes.
