Javier Díez Ena. 'Theremonial, Dark & Exotic Theremin Music'

As part of the events organized for Spain as Guest of Honor at the Frankfurt Book Fair, AC/E organizes the Javier Díez Ena concert on October 21 at 5:00 p.m. on the Esmeralda stage inside the Spanish Pavilion.

The theremin is the oldest electronic instrument that has survived to this day. It was invented in 1919 by Russian scientist and musician Lev Sergevich Termen (AKA Leon Theremin). The proposal offered live by Javier Díez Ena with 'Theremonial, Dark & Exotic Theremin Music' is a theremin concert with visuals created expressly for the occasion. If a theremin concert is already something out of the norm, it is out of the ordinary for the instrument itself, since it starts from a differential premise: everything that sounds is created by the theremin and it frees itself from its exclusively solo role to adopt multiple roles as a generator of rhythms, textures, harmonies and of course melodies.
