The International Festival of the Word in Puerto Rico is a global gathering of writers and readers who celebrate the Word in its many manifestations.
The Word Festival helds in 2013 its 4th edition in Puerto Rico and his 3rd in New York. It aims to create a space for intercultural debate between both sides of the Atlantic and promote Spanish language and culture. This literary gather together each year to a hundred authors from across Latin America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the United States. 90% of the participating authors are Spanish-language, the rest are authors of English, French, Portuguese, Italian, German, Arabic and Hebrew languages. Each year the festival organizes activities for the enjoyment of all audiences and has the participation of some of the most important exponents of international literature.
Through the first edition of the mobility program, AC / E supports the participation of Ricardo Menéndez Salmón, Cristina Fernández Cubas, Eugenio Rico y José Ovejero.
