Internationale Tanzmesse 2016

Internationale Tanzmesse 2016

Internationale Tanzmesse is the largest fair in the dance sector. It was first held in 1994, but since 2002 it has taken place every two years. It attracts participants from more than 50 countries in Europe, America, Africa and Asia. It is devoted to dance and does not have a specific geographical focus.
Its programme brings together the dance market, planning, and discussion panels in order to promote networking among international professionals. It is an important event for the dance sector.

This year AC/E is supporting the participation of Rojas and Rodriguez with a performance entitled 'Titanium'.  The working philosophy of ROJAS AND RODRÍGUEZ is based on seeking a different way of understanding movement, creation, staging, lighting and sound – which amounts to giving Spanish dance and flamenco performances a new dimension. They began this work in 1996 and it has become a benchmark for new generations.

In 'Titanium' 13 men on the stage, some of them musicians and others dancers, blend the world of flamenco with hip hop culture, showing that flamenco can draw on urban dances and be a cutting-edge art that is constantly evolving.
