International Meeting of Women Poets at Cereté 2017

Every year the National and International Meeting of Women Poets, the 24rd edition of which takes place in 2017, invites a group of about 40 Colombian and foreign poets notable for the quality of their poetry and literary careers to take part in a programme of poetry recitals, readings, lectures, introduction to poetry workshops, discussion panels, book launches, interviews with the media, and the promotion of poetry reading and writing in general during the event.

AC/E is supporting the participation of Spanish poets Ada Salas and Rosana Acquaroni. In 2017 other countries taking place are Noruega, China, Argentina, USA, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Brasil and Chile.
 
Ada Salas
Among her production are Arte y memoria del inocente (1988), Variaciones en blanco (1994) and La sed (1997) y Lugar de la derrota. She has received the prizes Juan Manuel Rozas and Hiperión.
 
Rosana Acquaroni
She has published  “Del mar bajo los puentes”, Cartografía sin mundo" (1995) (awarded the Prize of Poetry Cáceres Patrimonio de la Humanidad),  “Lámparas de arena” and “Discordia de los dóciles”.
