The award-winning International Hispanic Theatre Festival of Miami (FITH),organized by Teatro Avante, Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, Miami-Dade County Auditorium and Culture MD, celebrates its thirtieth edition from 9 to 26 July with the participation of distinguished theater companies from Latin America, US and Europe at various locations in Miami-Dade County.
This year the FITH pays tribute to Brazil in recognition and admiration of the cultural and artistic contributions of this country. The International Hispanic Theatre Festival of Miami also celebrates the "International Children's Day" programming this year, with the collaboration of AC/E through their mobility aids, the Spanish show Zarzuguiñol, Zarzuela Children of Javier Ruiz Gaitan & Melisa de las Heras and directed by Carlos Crooke Llop. Zarzuguiñol proposes an innovative approach: Zarzuela in the hands of the magical world of puppets.
