The International Guitar Workshop Lanckorona project was started up seven years ago as a response to the problems observed among students, who were becoming insensitive to the values represented by art, and in the reinterpretation of the cultural heritage of Lanckorona, a place known for its artistic activity. Intended as an international event chiefly aimed at guitarists and specialists in string instruments, this festival is also open to all the arts in general.
With the support of the PICE programme for the internationalisation of Spanish culture, the festival features a concert and classes by Arianna Savall, a master of the Renaissance harp.
