Naves Matadero International Center of Living Arts organizes for the second consecutive year an international meeting of programmers to promote their resident artists. Programmers, professionals from different festivals and production centers will have the opportunity to know the productions presented this season.
Participating in the meeting are 13 international programmers of festivals and production houses from 10 different countries, thanks to the support of AC/E through the PICE Visitor granst: Key Performance (Sweden); Dramatique National Orléans Center (France); FIELD (Belgium); Vila Flor Cultural Center (Portugal); Citemor (Portugal); Spider Festival (Slovenia); Ministry of Culture (Colombia); National Institute of Theater (Argentina); Vicente Revuelta Theater House (La Incubator space) / Osikán. Scenic Experimental Platform (Cuba); Variety Art Laboratory (LARVA) (Mexico); Transversal: International Encounter of Contemporary Scene & Linea de Sombra Theater (Mexico); Museum of Contemporary Art of Chicago (United States) and Merce Cunningham Trust (United States).
The International Meeting of Programmers is celebrated from May 22 to May 25, 2019. The projects of Spanish artists that are presented to foreign guests have been produced or co-produced by the center throughout the 2018/2019 season and are aimed at to make Spanish artists known outside our borders, to facilitate their promotion and programming in other related production centers.
