The Comic, Manga and Animation Show of Barcelona works annually to present an ambitious and attractive programme of activities. One of the activities carried out annually is the meetings of national and international publishers with Spanish authors. These give the opportunity to the authors to show their work to national and foreign publishers to help find professional opportunities for the creators and in which AC/E collaborates through the grants for Visitors, covering the travel expenses of an important group of international editors and prescribers formed by:
Cédric Illand (France), Edition Glénat BD of Éditions Glénat Nadia Gibert (France), Éditions Rue de Sèvres Louis-Antoine Dujardin (France), Éditions Delcourt Emanuele Di Giorgi (Italy), Graphic novel editorial company of Tunué srl Amber Gaza (United States), International Licensing of Sequential Rights.
The purpose of this initiative is to make it easier for authors to publish directly in the national and international market. For the 37 Comic Barcelona, COMIC PRO is renewed becoming a networking space divided into three axes: to the review of portfolios, this year is added a first edition of Professional Conferences and an opportunity to create a rights market.
