The festival programmes guitar competitions in different categories to bring the talents into the limelight. It focuses in all Guitar Genres from Rock, Jazz to Indian slide Guitar, Fusion to creative contemporary Guitar music, Music from Raga to Blues, Rabindranath to Debashish Bhattacharya. India International Guitar Festival aims to gather professionals from all around the world to network in their workshops and interactive sessions with guitar masters and budding talents. Every evening of the festival there are concerts of solo, duet, trio and orchestra performances.
AC/E supports the participation of José Manuel Dapena (guitar) to celebrate the 60th anniversary Spain and India diplomatic relations and Enrique Granados centenary. The concert arranged by José Manuel Dapena is based on the Spanish guitarist historical versions of Andrés Segovia, Narciso Yepes, Miguel Llobet, David Russell and Josefina Robledo. The Spain and India celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2016 and one of the best guitarist from Spain will be part of the artist panel playing the Granados centenary to conmemorate both milestones.
