Since its inception, the In Altre Parole festival has maintained a very intense and fruitful relationship with contemporary Spanish dramaturgy. Within the Festival programme there is a specific segment, Tablas, for Hispanic theater. For this edition, Tablas reaches its fifth year and several authors participate in it with the supports of AC/E: dramatized readings of "Run" by Yolanda Garcia Serrano, "Revenge" by Jordi Casanovas (Revenge) and
a work by Denise Despeyroux. The four playwrights also participate in the festival programme with meetings at the theater and at the University. The translated works will be published in both editions, within contemporary theater collections existing in the Italian publishing scene.

The event is organized by the Department of Lingue, Letterature and Culture Straniere of the Rome Tre University, and with it wants to continue exploring the dramaturgies in an original and innovative way most active and interesting on the world stage.
