The cycle of Encuentros de Soria con el Pensamiento Contemporáneo en Español (Soria meets contemporary thought in Spanish) is held every summer at the Centro Internacional Antonio Machado with the collaboration of Caja Rural de Soria and Fundación Duques de Soria. This year – the 3rd – the sessions enjoy the support of Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) through its Programme for the Internationalisation of Spanish Culture (PICE). The guest authors will travel to Soria to undertake an intellectual journey through their books and experiences in order to open up pathways in these critical times.
This year’s event includes a seminar on philosophy and politics and two cycles of lectures, some on philosophy and politics and others on lateral literatures.
The seminar on philosophy and politics will take place from 18 to 21 July 2016 from 10am to 1pm. Registration is required and costs 125 euros.
The first cycle of philosophy and politics lectures will take place from 18 to 21 July 2015 at 7.30pm.
The second cycle of lectures on lateral literatures will be held on Thursdays from 23 June to 4 August 2016 at 7.30pm.
