III Novel Biennial Mario Vargas Llosa 2019

Between the 27th and 30th of May, the Third Novel Biennial Mario Vargas Llosa (#BienalVargasLlosa), organized by the University of Guadalajara, the Vargas Llosa Chair, the Miguel de Cervantes Virtual Library Foundation, takes place in Guadalajara (Mexico). Española (AC/E), Banco Santander and the University of Guadalajara Foundation, with the collaboration of the Cervantes Institute and Global Spain.

During the Biennial, the Third Biennial Novel Prize Mario Vargas Llosa is presented. The finalists this are "Las fiebres de la memoria" by Gioconda Belli (Seix Barral), "The night" by Rodrigo Blanco Calderón (Alfaguara), "Vivir abajo" Gustavo Faverón (Peisa)," Sur "by Antonio Soler (Galaxia Gutenberg) and" Ordesa "by Manuel Vilas (Alfaguara).

The Biennial is held since 2014 with the aim of giving literature in Spanish a platform fot its global visibility, in the same way as the Prize that is delivered during it.
