Hyderabad Literary Festival 2018

Hyderabad Literary Festival (HLF) is an annual event that celebrates creativity in all its forms. HLF is a multi-disciplinary, multi-lingual event that draws over a hundred writers, artistes, academics, scholars, publishers from India and abroad each year. Started in 2010, the Festival has emerged as an important event in the cultural calendar of the country. It represents the rich and cosmopolitan ethos of the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, as well as the vibrant culture of the modern Cyberabad.

HLF is a Festival for All. Its programme includes talks, conversations, panel discussions, readings, workshops, exhibitions, book launches, cultural programme, events for college students and school children.

The Festival is organized by the Hyderabad Literary Trust in collaboration with the Government of Telangana and the support of several cultural institutions. Inviting a foreign country to showcase its literature, art and culture is a unique feature of HLF. Spain will be in focus at HLF 2018.

AC/E sill support the participation of curator David López-del Amo de Sinicus and the Spanish authors that will be part of the programme.

In order to profit the presence in India of these professionals, some of the will subsequently take part in other festivals and literary events such as the KALAM festival in Calcutta, the Jaipur Literature Festival, the Kerala Festival, as well as literary events in universities, centers and bookshops of Delhi.
