HYBRID Festival 2021

HYBRID Festival 2021

AC/E supports the participation of the guest curator Olga Gambaria in this new edition of the Festival that is presented as a means to interpret a present without certainties or guarantees and produce new forms of action on a speculative future.

For this they have developed the "Emergence" project that is carried out in collaboration with the artists and managers of alternative art spaces that participate in the Madrid festival and the Turin Nesxt Festival. This first collaboration opens an international exchange to promote dialogue between artists from Madrid and Turin that will continue with two residencies throughout 2021.

"Emergency" is a project inspired by the current crisis caused by COVID-19 and celebrated in the context of the 5th edition of Hybrid Festival. The word Emergency refers to a situation of alert in the face of a danger that requires immediate action, but it is also used in the field of art to talk about the new.
