Hoy para Hoy. Playwriting Workshop taught by Ignacio del Moral

Hoy para Hoy is part of the ongoing programme of projects implemented to date by the Escuela Nacional de Teatro to boost the development of young Bolivian playwrights. For the 2015–16 season, it intends to launch a project in which the Spanish playwrights taking part sponsor young Bolivian writers. Five plays will be written as part of the project, which will end with their publication and several staged readings.

Hoy para Hoy begins in June, with an initial playwriting workshop run by the Spanish author Ignacio del Moral (RESAD), during which a writing project will be chosen to be completed by the Bolivian author with the support of the Spanish author. A second workshop, in which another Spanish writer will carry out the same work as in the previous one, is due to be held in October. The project is scheduled to end in 2015 with staged readings of the completed texts.

Ignacio del Moral is travelling to Bolivia with the support of AC/E’s Programme for the Internationalisation of Spanish Culture.
