Hay Festival Cartagena de Indias 2020

AC/E collaborates in this edition of the Hay Festival Cartagena de Indias with a programme that seeks to publicize different facets of literature and the Spanish literary sector, in which the following professionals participate:

Clara Grima. PhD in Mathematics and Professor of Applied Mathematics I at the University of Seville. Scientific disseminator specialized in the dissemination of mathematics for all audiences. President of the Disclosure Commission of the Royal Spanish Mathematical Society. He has made and disseminates in the press, social networks, radio, television, YouTube, theater, conferences and books. Among them Until infinity and beyond with Espasa, Mathematics monitors your health with Next Door Publishers and May mathematics accompany you with Ariel. He has received several awards in his country (Spain) for his disseminating work. He is a member of the Jury of the Princess of Asturias Award for Scientific and Technical Research.

Marta Peirano. Marta Peirano is a journalist. He founded the sections of DNA Culture and eldiario.es, where he has been head of Culture and Technology and attached to the director. She has been co-director of Copyfight and co-founder of Hack Hackers Berlin and Cryptoparty Berlin. He has written books on automatons, notation systems and an essay on surveillance and cryptography called The Little Red Book of the Network Activist, with a preface by Edward Snowden. His talk TED, "Why do they watch me if I am nobody", already exceeds two million visits. It can be seen in radio and television debates talking about surveillance, infrastructure, technological sovereignty, computer propaganda and climate change. He lives between Madrid and Berlin.

Alex Nogués. Degree in Geology, specialized in Paleontology and Hydrogeology. In addition, for personal interest, he has studied a Postgraduate in Nutrition. He has published some albums among which "Parco", "The beach of the useless" or "A million oysters on the top of the mountain" stand out, illustrated books in which he reflects on the education we are offering to the new generations and How to face the challenges of the future.

Hay Festival Cartagena is celebrated between January 30 and February 2, 2020. It brings together more than 150 writers and intellectuals who will travel to Medellín, Riohacha, Bogotá, Manizales, San Andrés, Buenaventura, Santa Marta and eleven municipalities of the department of Bolívar.
