Guangdong Dance Festival 2015

Guangdong is an annual event that started out in 2004 in the city of Guangzhou. It not only features the most prominent Chinese artists but is also a showcase for the most innovative dance artists from all over the world. Over the course of its 11 editions, it has established a name for itself as one of the most important dance festivals in China and as an international platform for exchange.  
 
With the support of the AC/E Mobility grants, Spanish companies Cienfuegos Danza and CobosMika are attending the festival, where they will carry out the following activities:
 
-Performance of their latest shows Ratas (extract from Odeim) by Cienfuegos Danza and One to Another by CobosMika during 14 and 15 November.
 
- From 11 to 13 November Yoshua Cienfuegos and Olga Cobos (the companies’ choreographers) will take part as teachers in the Dance Camp the festival organises every year.
 
- From 7 to 10 November both companies will attend DanceX, a platform for professional exchange that was started up in 2012 as part of the festival.
