Granada International Comic Fair 2019

Granada International Comic Fair 2019

The Granada International Comic Fair (Salón Internacional del Cómic de Granada) is an international comic fair that has been held annually in Granada since 1994 and is hailed as the second most important of its kind in Spain after Barcelona’s international comic fair. The activities held annually include professional meetings with publishers that offer aspirants employment opportunities. The publishers give some 200 interviews to new cartoonists. The interviews can be requested directly from the festival’s organisers and take place in the city centre.

This year AC/E is supporting the participation of Richard Saint Martin (Edition Akileos) and David Manley-Leach (TitanComics) to help internationalized Spanish comics professionals abroad, with special emphasis on the American and European markets.

The Fair is held in the center of Granada, as a small book fair, with free entrance and the participation of more than 40 authors and 25 publishers.
