With 20 years’ experience under its belt, Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF) has become established as the most important platform for young Latin American filmmakers and invites talented newcomers as well as renowned experts from the film industry to take part each year. Every summer thousands of people travel to the cities of San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato capital to attend this event, which is unprecedented in the film world. This year Japan is the guest country.
AC/E is supporting the presence of Spanish filmmakers in the official section of GIFF 2016. In addition to presenting their films and taking part in Q&A sessions with the general audience, during their stay they will hold a press conference and grant personal interviews to the media. They will also have the chance to receive private advice from prominent people in the industry, especially about their projects in the pipeline with the INCUBATOR programme.
AC/E also supports the presence of Lucas Fernández in the programme Carambola, a Touring Cinema for children between 3 and 12 years old. The programme is made up of independent animation films.
