The international photography festival Foto México has taken up the legacy that secured Fotoseptiembre a reputation as Mexico’s most important photography festival for twenty years, adapting it to new, twenty-first century ways of exhibiting and reflecting on image. The festival surveys the national and international photography collecting scene.
Spanish experts Horacio Fernández and José Enrique Font are taking part in the session on collection management with the support of AC/E, during which they will share their projects on collecting with other specialists in photography and will discuss issues such as acquisitions, the conservation of photographic heritage, and research.
