Forum Wallis is a Swiss contemporary music festival held in Valais. It was founded in 2006 and is one of the most important of its kind in Switzerland.
The participation of the Ensemble d’Arts group in the 10th Forum Wallis Festival is the result of collaboration between members of the ZENET network of international festivals created in 2014, to which Forum Wallis and Projecte Rafel Festival (promoted and organised by Ensemble d’Arts) belong, together with the Festival Musik21 of Düsseldorf, ME_MMIX of Palma, Sirga de Flix and Cairo Contemporary Music Days (Egypt). It is taking part with the support of the Mobility grants awarded under AC/E’s Programme for the Internationalisation of Spanish Culture.
Ensemble d’Arts is characterised by the elaborate staging and design of its productions, which have a significant technological focus. The programme offered at Forum Wallis features two world premieres of pieces by Spanish composers Carlos David Perales and Miguel Angel Berbis.
