Foro de la Cultura 2016

Foro de la Cultura 2016

Subtitled ‘Identidades, en la frontera’ (Identities, at the frontier), the second Foro de la Cultura (Culture forum) is a space for reflecting on the main challenges faced by society of the twenty-first century. International intellectuals from various fields of knowledge (such as philosophy, anthropology, architecture, design, education, sociology and art, among others) address the role of identity in a globalised society that is undergoing changes owing to the resurgence of nationalism, the rise of migration, the political crisis, physical frontiers and other ideological, religious or social barriers.

The programme features many speakers and professionals from other countries. It is structured into panel discussions, dialogues, the sections Inquietos (Concerned) and ActivaCciones (ActivaCtions) and the prizes for cultural innovation as the main focus.
