FLIP 2019. Festa Literária Internacional de Paraty

The FLIP programme gathers annually national and international authors to participate in literary debates from the stage of a theater. FLiP brings the best of contemporary literature to Brazil with the participation of renowned and emerging authors, and attracts an audience of readers and consumers of culture, mainly from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

AC/E supports the participation of the Venezuelan-Spanish author Karina Sainz Borgo, who has been invited to appear on stage at a the event followed by a book signing session. All events are broadcast live on outdoor screens located in a main public square, as well as on the festival website.

FLIP is a great international literary festival that for five days occupies the streets and squares of the historic city of Paraty. The event is famous for bringing together great international authors for conferences and round tables with other people from the world of culture. FLIP has an extensive cultural program, with concerts, dramatic readings, debates, workshops, film exhibitions, among others, as well as special programming for children (Flipinha) and young readers (FlipZona).
