Fira de Teatre Infantil i Juvenil de Les Balears 2015

The FIET (Balearic Islands children’s and young people’s theatre fair) has been held in Vilafranca de Bonany (Mallorca) since 2002. It brings together thousands of spectators and dozens of companies and theatre management professionals. It is a showcase, a place for exchanging experiences and projects, where planners, families and young people can enjoy the best theatre shows. Side events include a professional conference and a programme for schools. The festival belongs to COFAE and Euroregión Pirineos Mediterráneo.

This year’s edition features an interesting novelty: FIET is taking part in the Euroregión Pirineos-Mediterráneo project along with the Fira Mediterránia of Manresa, the ESTIVADA festival that is held in the town of Rodez (France) and CIRDOC (Béziers, France). The aim of this project is to encourage artistic exchange between these regions. In 2015 FIET is featuring 40 shows performed by companies from the Balearic Islands, Spain and Europe.
