#FILGUA2019 | AC/E supports one more year the participation in this 15th edition of five Spanish authors who will be able to enjoy a wide and diverse programme of activities where they will be able to do public readings, present their works, as well as give lectures and workshops.
The authors invited by the Festival are:
Manuel Vilas who presents his acclaimed book "Ordesa", work with which validates a long life of office, in addition to participating in a round table on memory and literature.
Javier Santaolalla, popular scientific popularizer who has brought science to the young audience.
Valeria Correa Fiz, storyteller with a lot of experience in driving reading clubs and writing workshops, who will lead a workshop dedicated to reading club drivers and a creative writing workshop; and presents "The animal condition", his most recent book.
Ana Merino, important author for both children's and young people's literature, presents her work and shares her experience in promoting reading in a talk.
Maria Isabel Sánchez Vergara, an innovator in the way of approaching the child's reader in which she is taken seriously at the same time as she is allowed to play with reading. She will present her collection "Pequena & Grande", a series of illustrated stories that tell the life of remarkable women since her childhood.
In 2019, in its XVI edition, Filgua welcomes you to Chiapas, Mexico, as Guest of Honor, through the University of Sciences and Arts of Chiapas (Unicach). Also, there will be a tribute to the writer K'iche 'Humberto Ak'abal (1952-2019), to whom Filgua 2019 is dedicated.
