FILBo 2018. 31st International Book Fair of Bogota

As part of the programme in the Spanish Culture Focus in Colombia, AC/E has organized the Spanish presence in this year's FILBo by supporting the participation of a large group of authors and other Spanish professionals in the "Otra mirada" meetings.
 
The Bogotá international book fair (FILBO) is one of the most important literary events of Latin America. It has half a million visitors and lasts for two weeks. It features events for readers, children, young people and professionals from the publishing world.The fair represents an important space for business, and the most important book event for the national and international publishing sector, which also promotes and encourages reading habits. 

Among the authors whose presence AC/E supports are Javier Montes, Aroa Moreno, Alejandro Morellón, Use Lahoz, Adela Muñoz, Tàssies, Antonio Ventura, Mercé López, Alejandro Palomas and Nuria Barrios. These authors will participate in round tables, book presentations and various activities within the programme of the fair.

The meeting of bookstores and independent Ibero-American publishers "Otra Mirada" is organised by Cálamo Bookshop, FILBo, and AC/E. It aims to help publishers, distributors, and booksellers to promote the exchange of experiences and the circulation of the independent books. The tables and conferences will show some of the most interesting initiatives of independent publishers in Ibero-America.
