FIL 2016. Guadalajara International Book Fair

FIL 2016. Guadalajara International Book Fair

Guadalajara International Book Fair is the most important publishing event in Latin America and an outstanding culture festival. Established 30 years ago by the University of Guadalajara, it brings together authors and professionals from various continents and languages. For nine days, the public can listen to their favourite authors and the city becomes a celebration of the music, art, film, theatre and literature of the guest country or region, which this year is Latin America.

The celebration that comes to Guadalajara every year is growing on this occasion to mark the fair’s 30th anniversary. In addition to featuring well-established programmes such as the festival of European literature, FILustra, promoters of reading and discussion panels of various countries and activities for book professionals, the fair seeks to bring the public closer to literature.
