Guadalajara International Book Fair is the most important publishing event in Latin America and an outstanding culture festival. Established 30 years ago by the University of Guadalajara, it brings together authors and professionals from various continents and languages. For nine days, the public can listen to their favourite authors and the city becomes a celebration of the music, art, film, theatre and literature of the guest country or region, which this year is Latin America.
