Guadalajara International Book Fair, better known as the FIL, is regarded as the most important publishing event in Ibero-America and one of the most important in the world. Established in 1987, it sets out to ensure an ideal business environment for book professionals and exhibitors, and to provide the general public with a genuine meeting place for readers, books and their authors. In addition to them, more than 700,000 people are taking part in an extensive activity programme that transforms the city of Guadalajara into a literary universe full of music, art, cinema and theatre.
This year’s guest country at the FIL is the United Kingdom.
Through the mobility grants, AC/E is supporting the participation of Spanish creators Raquel Lanseros, Patricia Esteban, Javier Ruescas, Emilio Bueso, Agustín Fernández, Jordi Agustí, Iban Barrenetxea and Ana Ester López.
